I'm a mixed media artist combining processes such as drawing, collage, stamp carving, digital painting, and photography to create expressive city scenes with distinctive color palettes.
Inspired by Boston’s sidewalk life, unique mix of old and new architecture, and shifty weather, my artworks express my romanticized view of city life. I also create layered abstracts, graphic art posters, and animal portraits. My final images are made into high-quality giclée art prints or printed on metal.
My artworks can be seen by visiting my SoWa studio, but can also be seen in places around the city such as the British Airways lounge at Boston Logan Airport, Boston Children's Hospital, the Animal Rescue League of Boston, and above the lobby elevator banks in the new high-rise office building at 1000 Washington Street in the South End.

Making images that speak to me and to others means a lot to me, but I also periodically like to use my hands and brain in a different way by designing and creating handmade gemstone jewelry. Here are a few examples.
Necklace of 27 handmade charms from turquoise, carnelian, calcite, Czech glass, cultured pearl, and metal specialty beads
Loaded gemstone cha-cha bracelets of onyx, labradorite, amethyst, Swarovski crystals, Czech glass, and metal specialty beads
A supersized animal portrait for a private client, this is "Conan on the Common," a 36"x48" giclée print
