I’m a Boston-based digital painter. I feel fortunate to live in the heart of the city, with easy access to all that this vibrant and beautiful city has to offer. And I especially love my South End neighborhood for its many wonderful people and for its charming mix of simplicity, sophistication and fun.
My colorful, stylized approach to pet portraits is intended to creatively reflect your pet's own spirit. To learn more, visit the Pet Portraits page.
Color plays a predominant role in my art and is important to me as a means of expression. I design patterns inspired by Art Deco, Craftsman, Asian, Art Nouveau, Victorian and even folky Americana influences. My favorite medium is Intuos, an electronic pen/brush and tablet made by Wacom, which allows me to draw and paint at my computer and have it materialize on the screen.
Artists tend to see their purposes in different ways. My aspiration is to spread beauty, humor and joy. I am less interested in creating art to point out the rotten and unjust things of this world — I leave that noble cause to others. I hope that my art can inspire some happiness.
